How do I transfer to VATCAN?

If your current Division is within the VATSIM Americas Region: Simply send an email to your current Division Director, and CC vatcan1@vatcan.ca on the email. Division transfers are usually processed within 3-4 days, but may take up to a week.

If your current Division is outside the VATSIM Americas Region: Change your Region on myVATSIM (VATSIM's Membership Portal), select your new region as "VATSIM Americas", and the new division as "Canada". It may take up to 5 days for your region transfer to be approved.

How do I change my password, or email?
VATSIM Canada does not manage any VATSIM names, passwords, or emails. You should refer to myVATSIM (VATSIM's Membership Portal) to change your VATSIM details.

I failed an exam, can I try again?

Yes! All exams automatically reassign, usually within 3 to 7 days. The only time an exam will not automatically reassign is if your instructor manually cancels the reassignment.

How do I connect my teamspeak?

Here is the steps on how to connect your teamspeak to VATCAN:

  1. Ensure TeamSpeak is not running.
  2. Visit Settings/Intergrations
  3. Under the TeamSpeak section click on Generate Code.
  4. Click on Connect Now.
If clicking Connect Now does not work, continue with the following steps.
  1. Note the generated code, you will need it later.
  2. Open TeamSpeak.
  3. From the Connections menu, click Connect or press CTRL+S.
  4. Under Server Nickname or Address, enter ts.vatcan.ca.
  5. Under Nickname, enter the generated code you noted in Step 3.
  6. Click Connect.
Once your VATCAN.ca Profile is linked to TeamSpeak, you can re-connect using your preferred nickname.
